From a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away comes a collection
of some of the best Star
Wars
stories that originally appeared in the Dark Horse comic book
series...

Star Wars Tales Volume 2 spans the entire Star Wars
universe and revisiting many of the universe's old favourite
characters.
Amongst
the gems here are the wacky A Hot Time in the Old Town
Tonight which sees The Max Rebo band from Return of
the Jedi set off on a gig to one of Jabba's old enemies.
Or how about Junkheap Hero? A funny C3PO and R2D2 story?
There
is a healthy mix of serious and off-the-wall scripts and artistic
styles and only the most anal of Star Wars fans won't
find these collection raise a few smiles.
The
only real stinker in the collection is Hoth, a two
page story which makes no sense!
Star
Wars fans who haven't the cash to collect the original
Dark Horse series are strongly advised to check this volume
out. It could be the best £17 you spend.
