When Batman and Robin receive a tip-off that Commodore Schmidlapp
is in danger aboard his yacht, they plan a rescue mission.
But the information was a set-up by four of the most powerful
villains ever to roam the planet: The Joker, The Penguin,
                    The Riddler and Catwoman...
                  Hooray!
At long last one of the campest, awesome movies finally gets
the DVD treatment it truly deserves. A nice scubbed-up print
kicks this disc off on the right note, which is followed by
                    an impressive array of
Bat extras... There is a great commentary by Adam West and
Burt Ward which gives some insight into the making of this
cult movie. This commentary, like everything else on this
disc is recorded in the style of the original camp movie.
                  There
is also a great new 15 minute feature which shows West and
Ward sharing some of their hilarious memories from the making
of the series and the movie as well as a five minute look
at the Batmobile with the original designer of one of the
world's most recognisable automobiles. Finally there are a
couple of sections on the disc that show a number of stills
from behind the scenes of the movie (although word of warning
the button to move on the images is the fast forward button
not the play button as indicated)
                  Anyone
with a sense of humour should rush out and purchase this DVD
now. It will make a truly excellent addition to your DVD collection.
Now all we need is for the original series to be released
                    on DVD.
