One of big Arnie's best movies is finally given the DVD treatment
it deserves. Not only is it a cracking movie, but the second
disc is actually worth waiting for. The movie is full widescreen
with a beautiful DTS soundtrack that really sets your speakers
booming.
This
is Arnie at his best - limited dialogue, showing off his muscles
and running around playing a game of hide-and-seek that by
rights he should never be able to win.
If
you haven't seen this move before then what have you been
doing with your time? It's time to throw away that poor quality
video and join Arnie in the jungle with this new polished
version.
This double DVD special edition features an audio commentary
with director John McTiernan; text commentary with film historian;
scene access; interactive menus and a DVD Rom Game (Alien
Vs Predator). Also included is a documentary If It
Bleeds, We Can Kill It; and 7 featurettes. Add to this
outtakes, Deleted scene, special effects segments, Predator
camouflage tests and a photo gallery, and you have one of
the best disc put out so far this year.
Just
stop reading this and go out and bloody buy this! It will
soon be up there with The Matrix as everyone's must
own DVD film.
