                    Time
is running out for psychiatrist Dr. Nathan Conrad, who has
woken up to find his young daughter missing and his apartment
under electronic surveillance. But the brutal kidnappers don't
want money - they want Dr.Conrad to extract a six-digit number
from the troubled mind of a teenage mental patient. If they
don't get what they want, they'll kill his only child. Now,
the clock is ticking, the patient isn't talking and Dr. Nathan
Conrad is forced to take unprecedented action...
                  Don't
Say a Word is an intriguing thriller which grips from
the start. The opening scene sees the leader of a gang of
jewel thieves (Sean Bean) being double crossed by one of his
own gang. Ten years on and this undesirable individual is
still leading a crooked lifestyle - but now he has progressed
                    onto kidnapping and murder.
                  As
the plot unravels it is pretty obvious that the basic premise
of the story is faulted in many ways. The obsession that consumes
Bean's character is a little on the unbelievable side - surely
he would be better off planning bank robberies or kidnapping
individuals for ransom than pursuing his current goal.
                  Michael
Douglas is wonderful as the tortured psychiatrist who is running
out of time to save his daughter.
                  There
                    are more than enough extras including a director's commentary;
Making of documentary; Cinema masterclass including screen
test footage and set tour; 3 deleted scenes; Cast and crew
information; Individual scene commentaries from the cast including
                    Michael Douglas.
                  This
is a fine thriller that will have you on the edge of your
                    seat until the end.
