Season 6 offers the best Buffy box set to date. As
well as seeing a return to form in the overall series, this
box set is packed with extras - and we're talking decent extras
                    here!
                  The
sixth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer followed the
theme of growing up, and that life is the 'big bad'. The year
begins with Buffy being raised from the dead. Dragged out
of what she believes to have been heavenly bliss, she finds
herself "going through the motions" and entering into a relationship
with the evil, besotted vampire Spike just to force her emotions.

                  It
isn't just Buffy that has to come to terms with growing up
and the outside world, as this series sees Xander face up
to his reservations about his marriage to Anya, Dawn dealing
with abandonment issues and Willow getting sucked into an
addiction which could lead her to losing her girlfriend, her
friends and maybe even the world.
                  On
                    top of all this, humour comes in the form of this year's villains;
the evil geeks. These guys mess with the Scoobie's world,
but when it comes down to it, it is what life throws at them,
and not the supernatural, that causes the real problems for
                    our heroine and her friends.
                  Lightened
up with classic episodes such as the musical Once more
with feeling, Season six has you laughing, crying and
waiting for the next big twist. If that wasn't enough for
you, this box set offers some great extras included the expected
commentaries and outtakes (not so hot). A splattering of documentaries
are to be found across all discs - and these are really interesting
ones - not those tacky 10 minute ones you've grown to expect.
Just for starters take a look at the making of the musical,
and sit down for the panel discussion with stars and crew.
There are also some Easter eggs, but I can't tell you how
good these are, as I haven't managed to find them yet!
                  All
in all, this is the best we've seen yet. A must for any Buffy
fan, and for those who have an interest - you really should
                    check this out.
