In Homer the Heretic (Season 4) Homer awakes from a beautiful dream to Marge nagging him to get ready for church. When his trousers rip, he decides not to go. Marge and the kids get trapped in the church, while Homer has the best Sunday ever. He vows never to go to church again. Marge is horrified at his announcement. Homer has a vision from God and decides to starts his own religion.

Treehouse of Horror IV (Season 5) is another collection of spooky tales told in The Simpson own style. These include The Devil and Homer Simpson: Homer falls asleep at work and Carl and Lenny eat all the doughnuts. When he awakens, Homer sells his soul for a doughnut; Terror at 5 1/2 Feet: On the school bus, Bart is the only one to see a gremlin taking down the bus piece by piece; and Bart Simpson's Dracula: Mr. Burns is a vampire and Bart falls victim to his bite, Lisa convinces the rest of the family they must go to his castle and put an end to the curse.

In Bart Sells His Soul (Season 7) Bart and Milhouse are punished after Bart pulls a prank at church. Bart tells Milhouse that he does not believe in souls and to prove it, he sells his soul to Milhouse for $5. Bart starts to notice that he is different - animals are afraid of him and automatic doors don't recognise him. Now convinced that souls are real, Bart tries to get his soul back from Milhouse.

In Marge We Trust (Season 8) Marge decides to becomes a volunteer at her local church. Marge discovers that Reverend Lovejoy stopped caring about the congregation a long time ago. Reverend Lovejoy has a crisis of faith when he realises that Marge is doing a better job than him.

These four episodes will have you laughing all night long. It doesn't matter how many times you have seen these episodes you will always enjoy them as the Simpsons invite us into their home to witness all of their antics and goings on.
