When poachers kidnap Jackie Legs from the Australian Outback, bumbling Brooklyn buddies Louise, Charlie and Jessie have to leap into action. Their attempts to save the Kangaroo see lead to Las Vegas. They get caught up in a cross-continental jewel heist and the FBI think that they are the crooks. To prove their innocence all they have to do is find the jewels; to find the jewels all they have to do is find Jack - but Jack is free in Las Vegas so where do you start?...

G'Day USA is a spin-off animated feature from the live action movie Kangaroo Jack. G'Day USA is also probably a better film than the original - but then both movies really lend themselves more to animated features than live action.

It is the character of Louis that saves this movie from being a dull affair. Louis's flatulence problem, his barefaced cheek and his naiveté will have kids laughing.

Some of the CGI scenes (which usually involve vehicles) really let the whole movie down. They look pretty poor and when the technology has advanced as much as it has, it's a bit of a disappointment to see it used so sloppily.

There are enough (just) jokes here to keep the adults watching, but in all honesty this is more a movie for a younger audience.

Extras include a music video, short featurette on how to draw Kangaroo Jack (which for some odd reason doesn't keep the camera on the artist all the time so you won't really be able to go away and draw Kangaroo Jack at all); and a really fun interactive game - which puts you in the role of the stars of the movie and will certainly keep the little ones quiet.

Entertaining enough - just don't expect too much.
