If
you've played, and enjoyed the previous games in this series,
Budokai 3 will be a very welcome addition to your collection.
This release improves dramatically on the other games in the
franchise. In fact, it's difficult to find fault with this
release.
Atari
have been very generous to DBZ fans, having released
quite a few games based on the popular animated series. This
time around, those nice Atari folk have finally given you
the ability of flight, which allows you to zip around the
game world until you meet a challenger. Once you confront
one of your opponents, it's none stop fighting - in much the
same way as previous games in the franchise.
With
character animation that stays faithful to the TV series,
this game also captures the style of the show. Add to that
the fact that there are over 40 recognisable characters from
the show in this game, and you will soon understand why fans
of the series will want to add this to their collection.
However,
if you are not a fan of the show and have never played a DBZ
game in the past, you are unlikely to understand what
the appeal is.
Fast,
furious, colourful and great fun - just what DBZ fans
deserve.
