of a top professional cycling team. Hire and fire riders;
train them and keep a close eye on their fitness. Hone them
for the big events (the spring and autumn classics; the tours
of Italy, France and Spain,...) plus hundreds of other racers
across a season spanning ten months. Inside each race micro-manage
each of your riders, keeping a close eye on heart rates and
energy levels. Let your team leader throw down the gauntlet
to his main rivals or set up your sprinter for the mad dash
to the line. And after hundreds of races and thousands of
kilometres of asphalt, Managing Director will look at your
results and decide whether he wants to keep you for another

waiting for for your next fix of cycling management.
This
addictive manager game has impressive graphics and a realistic
feel to it. You must make decisions as your team progresses,
day by day, in numerous events that span the globe.
There
are, however quite a few bugs in this game - although nothing
too annoying that it will spoil your enjoyment. One of the
most obvious is the fact that the introduction to each race
is sometimes spoilt by the fact that the commentator seems
to be talking about an entirely different race.
While
this is not going to be to everyone's taste, Pro Cycling
Manager won't disappoint those who like a good manager
game.
