It's war! Fortress is a fast action strategy game where
you must build a fortress of power and then use a variety
of weapons to destroy your opponent's structure...
                  This
is one hell of an addictive game which will keep any gamer
of any age amused for a long time - with possibly only Tetris
                    being more addictive.
                  Fortress
is such a simple game that it will make an excellent alternative
to that pre-Queen's speech game of charades this Christmas
                    - even old aunt Hilda will be able to join in the fun. And
if you own a link cable (and another GBA and copy of the game)
you can play against a human component! What more could you
                    want.
                  From
the moment you switch the game on you are greeted with a funny
and impressive start sequence (Captain Caveman also
makes a guest appearance). Once in the game you must work
your way through four levels of play: prehistoric, medieval,
pirate and space - all of which have impressive graphics.
                  If
I had to level one criticism at this game then it would be
that the music is a little on the annoying side. That aside
this is one of the most enjoyable games around on the GBA
at present and is destined to be a classic that will rate
along side Tetris in years to come.
